Getting The Gig welcomes Tracy Ong January 2025!
Talent Agent and Venue Liaison
We proudly annouce an expanded staff at Getting The Gig and welcome Tracy Ong to join the team as Agent and Venue Liaison.
In her role, Tracy will help manage GTG Artist schedules and interface with Purchasers at events, venues, galas and weddings.
Tracy Ong began her journey into the music universe in fifth grade when she started pursuing her interest in the art of percussion. Drumming progressed throughout her schooling, in college, and in multiple local West Virginia rock bands, where she obtained valuable insight into the artist world as well as building her network. As a natural next step, Tracy achieved her B.A. Degree in Music Industry at WVU and took on challenging roles related to booking, A&R, and artist management starting with the university’s independent record label, Mon Hills Music Group. In that role she co-managed over 15 artists focusing on Marketing and Artist Relations.
Before joining Getting the Gig Entertainment, Tracy worked as a talent buyer assistant and venue runner for RMA Presents. In that role she developed organizational and communication skills through practical experience with negotiations involving both artists and venue talent buyers and representing the agency at shows in both theater and amphitheater concert series featuring acts such as Ace Frehley, Diamond Rio, Steep Canyon Rangers, Post Modern Jukebox, Fastball, Plain White T’s, Truckstop and regional headliners. In her experience as a talent buyer, booking agent, artist manager, and industry professional, Tracy has gained an extensive network of contacts within major agencies and venues, and will leverage those relationships to assist in developing the agency’s roster artists.
